SamTrans is sponsoring a study of transportation options on the Dumbarton corridor, and will be sharing preliminary results, tomorrow at the SamTrans board meeting starting at 2pm, and next week in two community meetings.
The SamTrans staff report doesn’t yet have the presentation, but the short summary suggests that there will be proposals for roadway capacity increases and transit. “The study will recommend operational and infrastructure improvements on both Highway 84 and the rail bridge that will be phased over time. As such, the study will identify short- and long-term transportation alternatives that contribute to the ultimate vision for a multi-modal corridor.”
The two community meetings are:
Monday, September 12, 2016, 7-8pm
6300 Civic Terrace Ave, Newark
Wednesday, September 14, 2016, 7 – 8 p.m.
