San Mateo County is working on a transportation funding measure to go on the ballot in November, 2018.

 

What priorities and projects would you like to see:

• Support for Caltrain service and capacity increase?
• Transportation improvements on the Dumbarton Corridor? The 92 bay crossing?
• Refill the pot of funds for Caltrain grade separations, which has run dry?
• Change the amount for safe bike and pedestrian infrastructure, which was 3% in the last ballot measure?
• Make room for more cars on highways, or help more people use the highways we have?
• Support housing in places near transit and services?
• Discount transit fares for low-income residents?

Starting tomorrow, there are four town halls where you can share your thoughts in person.    Come if you can, and please fill out this survey to share your priorities.It’s important for the voices of people who use transit and sustainable transportation to be heard.

The survey results will be shared with SamTrans and TEAMC, a coalition of transit, environmental, and community groups, including Friends of Caltrain, who want to see a transportation system that improves mobility, environmental sustainability, and social equity.

San Mateo – Thurs. January 25, 6:30 p.m.
Oak Room, San Mateo Public Library, 55 W. 3rd Ave., San Mateo

Pacifica – Thurs. February 1, 6:00 p.m.
Auditorium, Pacifica Community Center, 540 Crespi Drive, Pacifica

Menlo Park – Thurs. February 15, 6:30 p.m.
Ballroom, Menlo Park Senior Center, 110 Terminal Ave., Menlo Park

South San Francisco – Thurs. February 22, 6:30 p.m.
Council Chambers, Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Dr., South San Francisco
