Rescheduled to 9/2 – Getting Caltrain back on track – how it happened

Update: This event has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 5:30 p.m. as our moderator had fire-related responsibilities

Thanks to everyone – well over 1000 people we know about – who called, wrote, and made your voice clearly heard that losing Caltrain service was not an acceptable choice for our transit leaders, and voters need to have a say in keeping Caltrain running.

What really happened in those roller coaster three weeks when the fate of Caltrain hung in the balance? What were some of the turning points?  What are some of the lessons to learn for advocacy, for the region’s transit leadership, and public transportation in the Bay Area?

Get the inside scoop by tuning in to a September 2 conversation about Caltrain with me, Adina Levin and Rachel Swan, the reporter who broke some of the key stories that brought the eyes of the public as the fate of Caltrain service hung in the balance.
