An Emergency Conversation on Federal Funding to Save Transit – Friday, Aug. 7, 12:30 pm

California’s transit system has been hit hard by COVID-19, and our state urgently needs federal funds to keep our communities moving safely. That’s why we’re working with partners across the state to advocate for Congress to allocate at least $32 billion in additional funding for transit as part of its upcoming stimulus package. Unless Congress delivers, communities across California will face fare hikes, service cuts, and shutdowns.

Want to learn more and find out how to join this effort? Join us Friday, Aug. 7 at 12:30 p.m. for a conversation about the importance of federal funding to California’s transit future, featuring Tamika Butler, Jamario Jackson of TransForm, Beth Osborne of Transportation for America, and Jeanie Ward Waller of Caltrans! We’re proud to co-host this event with our friends at TransForm, ClimatePlan, Dream Corps, Friends of Caltrain, & Urban Environmentalists. The event is free and open to all.
