Wednesday evening 9/2 in San Jose, sustainable transportation investments for Santa Clara County

Do you want to see a full loop of backbone rail service around the Bay, with Caltrain connecting to BART in San Jose? Do you want to see better integration between Caltrain, BART, ACE, light rail, and frequent bus service, providing great transit for those of use who drive rarely or not at all? Would you like to see integrated fares for convenience and affordability? Do you want to see much better safety for walking and bicycling in San Jose and Santa Clara County?

What do you think about spending money for the proposed BART extension from Diridon to Santa Clara, which duplicates Caltrain service in a segment that isn’t crowded? What do you think about the proposed Alum Rock station, which provides BART access and economic opportunity for a low-income community?
